Objective
Our objective was to design the user interface and user experience for the home version of a location-based VR shooter game.
My Contributions
In collaboration with the producer and art director, I led the UI/UX design, developed tutorial materials, and created animations and graphics tailored for virtual reality. I coordinated tasks with illustrators and 3D artists, and supported the development team by testing and validating design hypotheses throughout the project. This was my first experience crafting a comprehensive user interface for a VR game, with a significant focus on the unique UX challenges of matchmaking scenarios.
Outcome
Our team successfully launched the home version of the game within six months. However, despite our efforts, the game's concept became outdated, and it did not achieve the desired success post-launch.
